3 days Akagera National Park

Day 1: City Tour in Kigali 2and Transfer to Akagera National Park

This morning you will be picked up from the Airport or the hotel in Kigali and followed by introduction with a briefing about your trip. Depending on your arrival time and your personal program, your driver-guide may propose you a visit of Kigali city which includes the following:
, Visit the 1994 Gisozi Genocide Memorial site
, Visit an artisan shopping center to view and purchase local arts and crafts, Visit the Kigali Museum and learn the history of Kigali’s and Rwanda’s pre-colonial and colonial period as well as the colonial masters in Rwanda, Tour around the city and see, first hand, the post-genocide development, and expansion of Kigali. 
From there you will be transferred to 
Akagera park we shall go for the afternoon boat ride on lake Ihema were you view hippos, crocodiles, and other beautiful sceneries. Dinner and overnight at Akagera National Park.


Day 2: Full day Game drive and overnight in the north of the park

We shall have yet another day of adventure within the park, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda’s hilly landscape, comprised of a blend of wetland, savannah, and woodland, the natural forests also make quite a view. The location of the park shows that it lies at a lower altitude as compared to rest of the country, therefore meaning that it is not only warmer but drier. Some of the wildlife you will see here include Giraffes, Buffalos, and Elephants as well as a profusion of birds. This day, we shall spend over night in the north of the park in the middle of the bush where you interact more with wildlife.

Day 3: Full Game Drive and Back to Kigali

We shall have yet another day of adventure within the park, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda’s hilly landscape, comprised of a blend of wetland, savannah, and woodland, the natural forests also make quite a view. The location of the park shows that it lies at a lower altitude as compared to rest of the country, therefore meaning that it is not only warmer but drier. Some of the wildlife you will see here include Giraffes, Buffalos, and Elephants as well as a profusion of birds. If fortunate, we may be able to sight at the Shoebill Stork, especially around the shores of the lake. From here you will drive back to Kigali, Dinner, and overnight in Kigali
